I (Steve) am feeling pretty excited right now. Yesterday, Sunday the 1st of March, I had the privilege of leading a wedding service for a couple I have done counseling with. It was a great opportunity for them to declare their faith to their family and friends. Asako-san cried as she told us all how happy she felt having her parents and sister come to church for the first time. Yes, I am a blessed man!

Could you join us in prayer for a few things?

1) Mrs. Y is still meeting with Joy (not me right now) for Bible study. She continues to ask good questions, but she has already said she didn't think she could ever give her life to God. What should we do now to show her the need she has for His love and forgiveness? Pray.

2) This coming Sunday afternoon, the 8th, we'll have 2 families (3 little kids) over for lunch and family worship. Ask God to help us sing, read, and pray in simple ways that show the wonder and intimacy of our Father.

3) Thursday evenings I have an English Bible study with 6 ladies, hosted by Michiko (who I baptized 3 years ago). They are asking good questions and have devoured the first textbook. As we start the next book, pray that Jesus will captivate their hearts.

4) Kathi has a lot of work to do to bring closure to the Christian Academy Boarding Program. Several of the present boarders still have no host families for next school year. Kathi has to finish an article for the school yearbook this week. And she is busy planning the closing ceremonies. Pray that she will find God's peace in the midst of much mayhem.
